If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. I can’t believe I’m wasting my GI bill on a school that only cares about my money and not my knowledge. There are a small handful of good instructors, but some are downright disrespectful and could care less if you grasp the concepts. As nearly a 30 year old man, I am astounded at how disrespectful I’ve been addressed at this school by certain instructors. You won’t learn to work on cars at this school. This may as well be an expensive corporate summer camp. If you have another option for automotive technician education, I advise you to go there.

6 months deep, as a military veteran in the field working at a dealer, UTI is looked down upon. You will learn the basics here unless you take the Ford Fact electrical course. For any students with no GI Bill, seek other options, this is way to expensive for the education we receive. The infraction system is a joke.

Pointless going to school here. You learn next to nothing. As a former program manager for instructional system design, I can tell you that their lesson plans, online content and labs add little to nothing to the learning experience. The online content is voluminous and repetitive with “troubleshooting” exercises that add nothing to the learning experience. Additionally, they have threaded discussions and PAAs (can’t remember what the acronym stands for because it is so pointless) that are just a time suck for the students that add nothing to their actual learning experience. I would not hire a UTI grad over someone that grew up working on cars - ever. Don’t waste your time and money. Speaking of money, it is outrageously expensive to get this completely inadequate training.

DO NOT waste your time or money coming to this school! I am a veteran currently attending school, please do your research before making this decision, better off learning on youtube. They Make you watch a load of videos which dont match with the in class labs, poorly recorded! And if you dont watch you fail! Instructors like to make you look dumb, belittling students that come here to learn something. Most of them are old folks that should be retired and expect you to know there 40 plus year knowledge in the field and got short patience! They have a “infraction” system where it’s basically attendance, guess what your 1 min late bang infraction, you can have a serious emergency it dont matter bang infraction. You get 8 infractions guess what you fail the course than you have to sit at the “ principals office and give a good explanation” please do research before its too late. Or just embrace the suck for a year. Bang infraction.

My little brother was interested in this school but after deciding that it was going to be pretty pricey even with FAFSA. They “helped” us with the FAFSA process, they were just asking how far we’ve gotten..idk if you’d consider that help.
Joe , not sure what department he is in
but he kept calling me while I was at work and then started complaining about how he and everyone else had “wasted” their time on my little brother trying to get him set up.

Now I do not know about you, but that feels like he was pushing for a “sale”.

Thanks , even more of a reason for him not to attend.

Couldn't be happier to send my son to this institute for his motorcycle mechanic courier. Well organized staffs and their supports are second to none. My pictures are testimony of all .

Completely disappointed with my interaction with this school I wanted some more information on the diesel mechanics course and I was completely rushed off the phone none of my questions were answered in the slightest bit then I was told I was gonna receive a call back at 10 pm at night with working full time from 5 am till 6 pm everyday I cannot stay up until 10pm to wait on a phone call that never even came I wouldn’t waist a dime on going to this school if they can’t even take the time of day to inform potential students on what they provide

Go up
