NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!
My dad came in with a persistent headache and vomiting and he got got a CT scan. We waited 4 hours and had too ask 2 nurses (each one was very rude) for help because it felt like he was just forgotten about. The doctor came in probably not even looking at his chart and told us it was just a little bit of free fluid in his brain and its nothing to worry about it should resolve on its own. He seemed in a hurry and talking very fast. My mom asked if it could have anything to do with his diabetes and if his blood sugar was okay.
His response was “his blood sugar is perfect nothing to do with his diabetes” Then he prescribed headache meds and sent my dad home.

We ended up going to another hospital. Turns out his blood sugar was 362 at the time he was here. The doctor was shocked that they sent him home and that he was still standing. These people did nothing but delay care and fill their own pockets. if you are having a medical emergency go somewhere else so that you dont die at the hands of these morons.

I had my baby at the hospital in April but let me tell you the staffs are amazing as well. My doctor Dr Vandell delivered me but the staffs were very kind and helpful during my surgery . After my surgery, the anesthesia person came to see how I was doing and the other staffs as well.
The hospital is really nice and clean. The staff are also very respectful but lady had a little attitude in the beginning but she probably was having bad days . Will definitely delivered my baby again if I ever get pregnant again
Thank you all

Around this time last year I gave birth. I was already in labor and I was taken to the waiting room before delivery. The nurse that I had asked me questions regarding my medical history. I advised her immediately that I wanted to get medications and epidural. She proceeded to check how far I was and I know for a fact that she did an illegal membrane sweep without my consent because she rotated her fingers and I felt immense pain. I told her that it hurt a lot after she did that and she stated it was just a cervical check although I KNEW it wasn’t. I again advised her that I wanted medications. She left the room to “call my doctor” for me to get approval to get medicine. I called her 3 more times because the pain was horrible and she denied me medicine. She then came back to the room and told me she was going to move me to a delivery room. In the span of all of this I requested for almost 4 hours for pain medication and she did not give me any. Now after 4 hours of her knowing I requested medicine she wanted to insert her fingers AGAIN to check me. I told her I was not going to let her do that and I wanted to speak to someone else that would not violate my rights. I explained exactly what happened and I was finally given a epidural and when I was in the process of giving birth the nurse that refused medicine to me and did a illegal membrane sweep comes into my room and apologizes. I was so traumatized by this. People like this take advantage of people and think we do not know our rights. Maybe it was racially motivated I do not know at this point.

I went to visit someone here. They seemed well taken care of. The staff was friendly, there was plenty of space to park, and everything seemed well maintained, clean, and comfortable. It wasn't too crowded either. The nurses didn't seem stressed out either, which is a good sign. There was a very pretty chapel towards the entrance. I liked the place.

If I had the knowledge I do now I’d sue the hospital. Luckily for this hospital I was 16 and this happened back in 2011. I was 16 and pregnant and let me tell you the treatment I received still traumatizes me today. The nurses were awful making remarks on my age. Allowing me to shake and loose consciousness after giving birth. Laughing at me when asking concerning questions. They fed my baby formula and yelled at me saying my child was starving after I told them I wanted to breastfeed. The nurses made remarks on if I was sure I could handle a baby. They wouldn’t let me hold him at times or change him. They also made remarks assuming I had state insurance. They even asked my child’s father if he’s for sure the father. Looking back I’d not recommend this hospital at all. It was quite a traumatic experience. I truly hope there’s new doctors and nurses. I also hope they are training their employees and being much more professional. I hope what happened to me never happens to another human being let alone a mother giving birth. I’m not sure how your training is now, but if it’s anything like it was when you first opened, you are opening yourself up for lawsuits. Believe me if I had the same knowledge I do now, I’d sue. No one should have to be treated that terribly no matter a woman’s age. I’ve since moved and had a wonderful experience years later with the birth of my daughter, but the experience this hospital took from me with my son will forever traumatize me.
I’ve never left a review before and I’m just now coming forward. Take my review or leave it. I just hope that another mother doesn’t have to go through such a traumatic experience giving birth.

We had a very positive experience at Harris Flower Mound. We checked in with my wife having severe pain from a kidney stone on Thursday evening. Within thirty minutes of checking in, she had been seem by a nurse, and the physician on duty, and administered pain medication. They took a cat scan, and advised us to stay over the night and have a procedure done the next day to remove the stone. The nurses on our floor were very attentive and took great care of my wife during the night. The next morning the surgeon came by, had read the scan, explained to us the plan, and was ready to remove the stone. The OR staff and anesthesiologist were very attentive, and designed her anesthesia around some known drug allergies. The surgery went well and she was back in her room in about an hour. The nurses then took over, and did a great job the rest of the afternoon taking care of my wife. We discharged at 6:30PM, got home, and recovery is going very well. Can't say enough about the positive experience we had at this hospital over the last 36 hours!

Recently had my first child here. The reviews do not do this hospital justice. We had an amazing experience with both the L&D and Postpartum teams. Dr. Banks along with the delivery nurses were a dream team! All of the nurses that were on rotation throughout our stay were super sweet and attentive. They also followed my birth plan without question. Even the food and kitchen staff were above expectations for a hospital - highly recommend the fully loaded omelette for breakfast post delivery! They also send you home with a celebratory dinner, so you can focus on getting some rest. We ordered the Florentine chicken and Filet Mignon, both were delicious.

My son dislocated his finger playing football - it was truly horrifying, and everyone at the er was awesome. We checked in and I got an alert to fill out paperwork on his my chart on my phone . I did it and then they called us within maybe 15 min. He got X-rays and then Dr Veloso came in for the exam, he was concerned, asked questions, gave us options. We love that he was treated so quickly and the doctors and nurses were just the best.
