After surgery I stayed overnight on the 3rd floor. The night nurse (sorry, I’m going to butcher the name) Limeniskixyz…123) what a wonderful nurse. Compassionate and helpful in every way possible. I may have been the only patient awake all night but what a pleasant experience following a not so pleasant surgery

Hospitals are not fast food joints... you try to stay away as long as possible.... but, when that day arrives Texas Health Hospital is where you want to be.
Great staff, clean and comfy facility, excellent nursing staff! And doctors who took more than 30 seconds to go over procedure.
And the EXTRA I got? I was the #1 patient on their new surgical robot!!
Too bad I never saw it. Zapped me with sleeping meds and I was out!
5 stars for facility, staff and medical providers... (and their landscape peeps keep it pretty on the outside, too!

I've had two babies, a surgery and multiple ER visits. We have lived 25-45 minutes away and it's my hospital of choice. Once my husband's throat was swollen and I asked if he could breathe enough to get to Presby in Rockwall. We made it, and I knew they would take the best care of him. L&D is amazing! The nurses sent me a card after my surgery. When I had to go back in after a reaction to the pain meds the Dr's and nurses(all but one, who was treating me like I was a drug addict because of what I was on, but really just didn't want any meds, but she still was nice ?) made me feel like I was top priority. When my 4 year old had sudden onset stomach pain they made her as comfortable as possible until we had to be transferred to Children’s.
The facility is clean and safe. They go above and beyond.

The staff in Labor and Delivery are phenomenal. I delivered my first baby in Dallas (UT SW Clements) and although the experience was fine, I did not realize Labor and Delivery care could be a better experience. The Rockwall L&D center is brand new so it feels clean and reassures you that everything you need is within arm's reach (surgery and NICU are right there). Additionally, the staff are very experienced and attentive. One thing I greatly appreciate is the thoughtfulness on how often I was checked-in on while trying to get precious sleep in the recovery room. The staff was mindful of how often they checked-in to make sure my husband and I were actually getting some sleep in the recovery room. Additionally, they asked for feedback on the room we were staying in as everything is new and they want to make tweaks to continue to improve the experience. I wish I had delivered our first baby at this location. It just felt like everyone liked their job and actually saw me as a human being vs. a simple patient with a protocol to follow. If we have a third, it will be at this location. I attached a couple pictures from a video I took of our recovery room. My husband was able to sleep on a make-shift twin bed vs. a chair in both the delivery and recovery room. We upgraded to a recovery suite to visit with friends a family. It was beautiful, lots of windows.

I am immensely grateful for the exceptional care I received during my hospitalization. From the moment I arrived, every member of the medical team demonstrated unwavering professionalism, compassion, and expertise. Their dedication to ensuring my comfort and well-being was evident in every interaction. The nurses, doctors, and support staff went above and beyond to provide personalized care and attention, making me feel valued and supported throughout my stay. They saved my life and gave my kids and husband more time with me. I spent 19 days in the hospital, 16 in ICU, and 10 of those days in a coma. I am forever grateful for their kindness, competence, and extraordinary commitment to excellence, which truly made a difference in my recovery journey.

My MIL was admitted due to possible stroke. She was lethargic and showing some signs of a stroke. She is also 4 week post op. First, we were told by the initial doctor that the scans showed no signs of current stroke and she would need a spinal tap to look at other possible answers for her condition. When mid day rolled around and the nurse was ask when my MIL would be getting this they knew nothing of it and it wasn’t in her chart. Meanwhile now she is declining and cannot speak clearly and her eyes are nearly rolled back in her head. It was clear to anyone that something serious was happening and we needed to get her treatment quickly. The doctor that was then on shift came and told us that her scans didn’t show anything and again a spinal tap would need to be done and she needed a neurologist however, they don’t do these on weekends because of staffing etc. So we ask to be transferred immediately to a larger hospital equipped to handle her case. 6 hours later the ambulance that was in Texarkana finally shows us to transport her. No ONE and I mean no ONE had any since of urgency and you didn’t need to be a medical professional to see that she was rapidly declining and something was seriously wrong. My suspicion leads me to think meningitis which needs to be treated asap. When she got to Presbyterian Dallas they said they were given very little information about her….shocker. She is now in the ICU. My family will be taking legal action.

We came here because my wife was having chest/Rib pain for days and it recently became worse. All they would do is Xray and bloodwork even after we specifically asked for ultrasound/CT scan because we feel something more sinister may be going on.

They refused and sent us on our way since the xray and bloodwork looked normal. F this place, robbery.

We have now been waiting for four hours when the ER doctor finally came in to address the cut on my mother’s leg. Not only are his bedside manners horrible, he put on gloves touched the door handle, went into the hall to get supplies came back in and roughly cleaned my mom’s wound touching her open wound with his dirty glove. He was rough and rude. Needless to say, we will never return to this hospital again. We will go across the interstate to Baylor, Scott & White. The nurse Megan was very kind though.
