I purchased the SRI Dry Q about 18 months ago and have really enjoyed this hair dryer! It is light, very quiet and dries hair very quickly. It is everything they advertise. My hair stylist even bought one after my review of the product to her.

Unfortunately about 15 months in-the electrical housing unit started losing chunks of plastic. It became very brittle, cracked and pieces of plastic began falling off the unit-exposing the wiring inside.

I reached out to SRI and asked if they could send me a replacement part for the electrical housing-as the dryer itself was fine. They informed me the unit was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do-but I could purchase a new one at a slight discount. I asked again what could be done and stressed I just wanted it fixed-not a new dryer. Again I was told it was out of warranty and also that unit was no longer manufactured and there were no "replacement parts". I finally asked for my issue to be escalated to a Customer Care Supervisor as I felt this was a manufacturing issue with the type of plastic used and not customer misuse/mishandlIng. My request was forwarded to "Jen" in Cust Care and she was great! I would like to think that she recognized the issue was with the unit itself and not that I was trying to get something for free after mishandling the dryer.

She offered to send me a refurbished dryer at no cost and I gladly accepted. I received it today and couldn't be happier to continue to use this product and sing it's praises!

I have tried several dryer over the years and there are several things I love about this dryer. The ability to fold it makes it easy to store in a drawer. The dryer is light weight and has all the attachments you will need no matter your hair type. I have course fine hair, however, I have a ton of it and it typically takes me over 20 minutes to blow dry and even then I have had issues when it is humid. This dryer is also not loud like other dryers I have had. Very happy with my investment.

I ordered this hairdryer as I couldn’t pull the plug on a Dyson. I absolutely love it! It’s so light and quiet, and my hair has never looked better after drying! Unfortunately while traveling, a part to the my hair dryer broke making it impossible to use my attachments. I reached out to the Skin Research Institute customer service to see if individual parts were available for purchase as my 1 year warranty was up. Sadly not an option. BUT Mai was kind enough to offer a one time replacement free of charge. I have never had such amazing and fast customer service. I love this product and so happy I may continue to use my dryer with the attachments. Customer for life! Thank you again, SRI and Mai!

The support team SKI was incredible. They replaced a ring that had broken after I dropped my hair dryer, with ease. They even sent me a video to show me how to install it. My dryer is a few years old and out of warranty, so it was so nice of them to replace free of charge. They are a 10+.

When I got my first dryer 2 years ago I was amazed at the small size, the lightness, and the quiet power! Fabulous.
The rose steam hair straightener is just incredible. Loads of steam, doesn't burn your hair or hand. Super easy to use and covers a large area. It's really a great flatiron. And I've tried them all! Customer service is prompt and really professional and you can return in 60 days. Nothing to lose and good hair days to gain.

I love my SRI-DryQ blowdryer. It is as they say: super lightweight, easy to handle and dries my hair super quick. After almost a year of use, I dropped it & needed a replacement part. After calling & spkg to ANN I was able to reorder the part (at no cost to me, since it was still under warranty). The part came after several weeks of patient waiting. I highly recommend this dryer for the smoothest hair you'll ever have!!!
P.S. My DIL has a much more expensive dryer that I have used several times when visiting and I honestly get the same results w/ this dryer.

My SRI hairdryer is over 18 mo old. The cover over the filter was falling apart. I contacted customer service and they replied within 24 hrs and found one in the warehouse even tho my model discontinued. Ann was so helpful. New part is in the mail.

I will give 4 stars for great customer service, but I have only had my dryer for a year in September and this is the 3rd replacement ring I have received. It keeps breaking and the magnet falls out. I am careful w/ my dryer but this issue is very frustrating
