Avoid this Dr. at all costs. I really needed to see a neurologist for some symptoms I have been experiencing from a fall with a head injury. I made sure to ask even before setting the appointment if they could help me because I had been turned away by another neurosurgery group because they said I needed to be diagnosed and referred for surgery. These people just saw dollar signs, apparently, and set the appointment. They ordered scans, but not the right scans and also refused to look over scans taken immediately after the injury for comparison. They ended up defrauding my insurance company for three specialist office visits with no diagnosis or treatment plan but asked if I wanted pain meds every time I called. I didn’t meet “ Dr” Baird until the final office visit and was way less than impressed. He is both petulant and arrogant and got angry and stomped off because I had to call my bank after his office staff couldn’t seem to collect my co pays. He came in and I was on the phone and he stomped out like a little girl. So self important but not caring that in two previous “ office visits” I had received no diagnosis, didn’t ever meet with him which partially explains why he had no clue what was going on. He never did do the actual visit. Never showed me my scans, especially the brain scan which was the one I was most concerned about. His PA on the second “ tele visit” in which they called about 6:30 PM on their commute home told me they needed to do multiple invasive procedures( stent for hydrocephalus, pins in my neck and eventual back surgery), which Baird totally denied when I unfortunately had the displeasure of meeting him.Total run around, and I reported them to my insurance. I am also considering a complaint to the Medical board. Avoid at all costs.
UPDATE!
Their response is both rude and inappropriate because I asked the scheduler if I was contacting someone who could help me. In the initial “ consultation” which Baird chose not to attend, I clearly stated my needs and the reason for my visit. Instead of expressing( second chance) that they could not help me they continued to book appointments and ordered imaging. Sounds like insurance fraud to me so I reported them to BCBS. An ethical physician would have explained at the consult why I was in the wrong place and ideally referred me elsewhere.
