Had an appointment with Dr. Desai he was amazing as always, Morgan is always so caring and through. I would never leave the Eye Institute of West Florida and my Drs

Im pretty sure I'm going to butcher her name, but Ani is a godsend. She made my eye procedure less nerve wrecking. Honestly don't think i would have came back if she wasn't in there for the 2nd eye operation.

Dr. Desai is a miracle worker plain and simple!! I was legally blind in my right eye since I was 7 years old. After wearing contacts for 50 years, he removed a cataract and replaced my natural lense with one that now has me seeing 20/20 in that eye. Couldn’t help but hug his neck the next day when I went back for follow up. It’s been one month since the procedure and I still wake up every morning with a smile being able to see!! Thank you Dr. Desai!

I give lowest rate for dr Desai. He doesn’t give an options for lenses, only one brand that he connected with. He performed 2 surgery on right eye cataract , yag, and left eye cataract , yag, Prk. My vision now is blurry, cloudy with all this floaters that gives me virtigo and headache , problem with driving . On my complaints he has only one answer -you have a dry eye and tried to sell me expensive dry eye treatment .I had 2nd opinion and dr didn’t diagnose me “ dry eye”. Plus my left eyelid drooped, completely covering my eye because of dr Desai damaged nerve and muscles performing cataract PRK surgery. Now I end up wearing dark glasses to cover my droopy eyelid. I need find a surgeon and have another surgery for droopy eye . He has a problem communicating with patient.He doesn’t answer questions and became mad if you questioning him about why my vision not improved.For some reason my previous review was not published. Beware.

I have been a patient of several professionals, Dr Kirsch for Retina issue, Dr Smith for checkup, Aodan for dry eye and a few other issues, Dr Desai for corneal, dry eye, and cataracts, and Dr Merrit for f/u. They have all been really great and I recommend this group for many issues as they have professionals for most of your eye issue needs.
