I was informed numerous times by text or email to report to office 30 minutes earlier than my appointment. Upon reporting the office was closed for lunch. I then set in my car waiting 30 minutes for the office to open. After entering I had to wait for another 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Doctor was very professional and caring but total time was 5 or 6 minutes with Doctor. The overall experience was totally not what I had expected.

Got there super early for my Dr.’s appointment which was scheduled for 8:30 AM, I arrived at 7:45 AM and waited in my truck for 8:00 AM as I was sent a few reminders by text and one by a phone call to please arrive 30 minutes early. I still was not seen by the Dr. till 9:25 AM. Also if they don’t want patients parking on the right side of the building they should post employees only signs instead of sending someone out to ask you to move your vehicle. Dr. Reder was nice though he went over my audiologist test results in a professional way and recommended I get an MRI and come back for another appointment. I’ll make sure to park in front next time as the staff is very territorial about the parking.

Doctor Zach was Amazing, his nurse Brittany was amazing as well! However I was t treated very nice by Monica the lady at the front desk. I was horribly embarrassed and treated low as if the issue going on was my mistake. I think for future reference things could have been handled better with a simple form of communication. My daughters primary care didn’t send over the correct forms of insurance and when I sent the insurance cards it went to a wrong email. That was my mistake however, I wasn’t told until after my appointment and I was threatened that my daughter wouldn’t get the proper help she needs since I didn’t have the co-pay that I was unaware of. I don’t think anyone should be treated this way I would have definitely been prepared to pay. If I knew ahead of time it was a mistake that was not on my end besides sending the insurance cards to the wrong email, but the way I was treated in front of other clients was terrible I felt judged and belittled. No one deserves this thing God for the nurse Brittney in the back coming to reassure me of things she made me feel a little better by communicating. again, Dr. Zach was great as well they both seemed willing to help my daughter and her condition thank you guys!

You're not a ENT doctor like asked over the phone. Day of appointment you called and asked if I could come at an earlier time. Okay, so I rearranged my day. First thing I saw was an oversized advertisement in the reception
area for a popular weight loss med. What that has to do with their said field of medicine I cannot understand. The only health related advice I was given was my sinus was swollen, which it is not. Folianas? was recommended. I left disappointed to find this place is basically pharmacist, not medical doctors. Disgusted.

New patient beware. I needed an allergist in Boerne and all the recommended doctors were booked out for months. I found the National Sinus Institute in Boerne and was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks - thought this was too good to be true, well it was. I was having horrible allergy issues and wanted to take an allergy test, but the office procedure was to have an evaluation first. The evaluation consisted of an endoscopy and prior to me signing the consent form attached, I asked how the insurance would work and that I was not interested in paying a part of my deductible. The nurse told me it was no big deal and that if my insurance coded it as a procedure, I could call them to have it changed since it was more of an exam. I reluctantly signed the consent because I needed my allergies to be addressed. Come to find out I later got an invoice for $400 for this procedure. With all of my calls and two appeals, my insurance said they would not change the code and not sure why the practice would tell me they would. They informed me that the practice could change the code themselves if they wanted, but of course they have refused. I do not feel the minute spent on using a scope used at a normal doctor’s office constitutes an endoscopy procedure. PA-C Zack Garrett literally just looked up each nostril with a basic scope for less than 30 seconds. An online definition of an endoscopy states "uses a thin, flexible or rigid tube with a light and camera that's inserted into your nose. The camera captures images that are projected onto a screen". Also, on the consent form attached they stated the possible need to numb the area and preparation for uncomfortable procedure might be expected. Again, he just used the scope at the bottom tip of the nose - there is no way this was a procedure and would have been uncomfortable at all.
Just beware if you visit this practice and are asked to sign the consent. I feel the practice was extremely shady in my first initial exam and I will not be going back. It will be worth the time waiting for one of the better practices in town.
