We visited for the first time yesterday, it won't be our last! Absolutely one of the best times we've had in Sacramento!
Chef Hassi, Sarah, Art and the rest of the crew made the interactive experience a memorable one for us! The food and cocktails were right up our alley!
See you guys soon!!

Update 7/9/24: The classes keep getting better every time I come! There are always unique perks with each visit. This time my husband and I were treated to a sample of the most amazing vodka I've ever tasted, produced by the Chef himself! It's called Persian 7000 and it's 110 proof vodka that is unbelievably smooth-tasting. Check out the photos! And ask for it by name to get the word out ?

Sara's classes are amazing too! Hassi and Sara are both amazing teachers. I highly recommend the New Orleans class with Chef Sara!

Just had my fourth class here, and it was as amazing as ever! This is the Disneyland ride of cooking classes. Wonderful, talented, funny chef/culinary experts. You'll learn priceless cooking tips and great traditional recipes, sample many foods, get hands-on experience making your own food that you get to eat and bring home. I have nothing bad to say about this place and the people who work here!

I recently purchased a Groupon for a "Cooking Class for Two" at Napoli's Culinary Academy. Upon receiving the confirmation email, I noticed it only listed a quantity of "1" despite the Groupon being for two people.

I called the number listed on the website to clarify this and unfortunately encountered extremely rude and unprofessional customer service from a representative named Mark. Instead of assisting me, he became dismissive and condescending, using language such as "I don't understand what your damn problem is" and "thousands of other people can do this, why can't you?"

Furthermore, the reservation process itself seems confusing. It appears that I need to make a separate reservation for each guest, even though the Groupon was specifically for a class for two.

I am extremely disappointed with my interaction with Napoli's Culinary Academy and would not recommend them to others based on my experience.

Beautiful place, everyone is kind and full of humor. You check in, show your aprons or rent $5. You pick a seat, a host offers you wine, beer or soda. The movie starts .

The chef introduces himself and let's you know what the class is making. He picks an audience member to come up to the front and move the food around and help him cook, for every dish (#3). You then get dividend into groups and attempt to make the dishes you were shown how to make previously in the kitchen. You finish take a seat finish the movie while the food cooks and then are presented with the food, you eat it, mingle and the nights over.

This was a fun experience for my husband's birthday & the food was absolutely delicious. We left satisfied & had a good time! I do want to make sure a few things are clear though for people looking into this:

1) You'll learn some good tips but don't actually prepare the ingredients yourself. There's a demonstration for each dish & you get fed the ones they make. Then at the end you chose one to make and they give you all the ingredients to put it together. We did the ninja turtles/Italian food class and the dough and all ingredients were pre-prepared for us just to put together one option (either a pizza, calzone or stromboli) which you do get to take home and are pretty good in size.

2) Use the discount codes!! Whenever I have looked there is always a groupon for a fifth of the price on their website, at the time we went there was also a code on the home page. Make sure to use it! I sure hope no one has paid the full advertised price since it seems they always offer the discounts. They really should just offer that price to begin with.

3) Bring your own apron. They let you know ahead of the class but FYI they charge $5 to use one of their plain white ones.

In all, a fun experience and well worth the "discounted" price that we paid. We also ended up purchasing drinks (they serve alcoholic & non) and they advertise dessert which is also additional cost (but so delicious). Plus there's a small gift shop.

A great night out! Either by yourself, with friends, for a date night, or even with the (older) kids. Tons of cooking classes on a wide variety of different types of cuisine from around the world. I've been back many times and learned Moroccan, Persian, Indian, Mexican, Russian, French, Italian (their pizza class is a favorite - everyone gets to make their own personal pizza, calzone, or stromboli), and many others. If you're not starving, bring some Tupperware to bring home leftovers, as you get to eat what you cook and there's often leftovers.

Very entertaining! Loved the instruction and the hands on cooking. My wife and three daughters had a blast! My youngest, Emily, even won a prize for best pizza!

We had much fun making our own personal pizzas.

Chef Hassi is a great teacher and after we watched him prepare some pizzas, calzone and stromboli, we put all that we learned into action. Everyone at Cafe Napoli is super nice and fun. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to get a fun lesson on preparing a meal of their choice.
