Dr.Lucas is a fantastic orthopedic I came into his office less then 5 weeks ago with my ankle looking like this, and now healed. On my way to physical therapy. Thank you so much for your time, wisdom, and support with me. I explained to him I’m a very active surfer and water sports guy and how important this is to my life style and he gave me the hope that I would be able to do it again.

Dr. Bader is one of the best surgeons ever! He did my mom's hip surgery and took really good care of her during her recover in the hospital. He made sure she wasn't in any pain and was extremely honest and transparent. He is very skilled and great at his profession. Thank you!!! We HIGHLY recommend his services! Bader performed my hip surgery in January 2020. The first sign of incompetence was when he came into my hospital room to check on my wound, and suddenly ripped off my bandages taking some skin with it. The surgery turned out to be a failure as the pins which were supposed to keep the joint together slipped out.
This failed surgery resulted in my having to undergo 3 subsequent surgeries: first to remove the pins and then to space the area and prep it for a hip replacement; finally I had a total hip replacement.
Neither he nor any other surgeon in Corpus Christi were willing or able to perform the THR. Luckily, Dr. Frank Buttacavoli at UT San Antonio worked with me and performed my surgery with great success.
