Dr. Feuerman did my cataract surgeries last year and I thought he was great!
Last month I had a bad bacterial infection in my eyes and he was able to see me on the day I called his office. He gave me medication and my eyes recovered well. The office was so nice and so responsive. I highly recommend Dr. Feuerman and the Eye Institute of Austin in general.

I've been seeing Dr. Ross for 7 years. Being diabetic, I worry about common eye issues. Dr. Ross is so informative about the changes in my vision and keeping blood glucose levels properly maintained. He's my favorite ophthalmologist I've ever had in my 60 yrs. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Todd Smith has given me a new lease on life. I'm in my late '50s and started really struggling with eyesight issues in the past year. Until I saw Dr. Smith, I wasn't certain what was going on and then realized I had premature cataracts, perhaps due to some sort of steroid or chemical exposure. Needless to say, my eye surgery went well and I can't believe how well I am seeing. It's like I was walking around with lens filters on and didn't even fully realize it until I was struggling with driving after dark. He really is an expert and I'm very grateful to be under his care.

Cheryl and Dr. Janet Lindsey are amazing!!! My mom has seen both for over 20 years and we will be coming here until they retire. The ONLY issue we have ever had was sometimes experiencing long waits, but they have improved on that and it is SO appreciated. Dr. Lindsey took my concerns seriously and diagnosed me with some issues that people my age usually do not have. No one else would take me seriously, but she listened and found my issue.

Dr Chan was awesome with my cataract surgery. She spent a lot of time upfront in analyzing what would work best for my vision. She walked me through the whole process and was extremely diligent. John the care coordinator was also topnotch. The painless results surpassed even my highest hopes. I can see 20-20 and read small print without reading glasses!

Dr. Gary Rylander, MD has been my opthomologist for almost 10 years. He and his staff have always been very helpful for both contacts and glasses. I also prefer having a qualified MD examine my eyes and speaking with me about my kerataconus, diabetic retinopathy, and now cataract issues. Germaine was kind enough to help lift me out of my wheelchair and back into my truck. THANK YOU GERMAINE!! I am very happy to highly recommend Eye Institute of Austin.

Also wanted to mention that on my last visit Dr. Rylander discovered I had substantially increased pressure in my eye. Such pressure can damage one's optic nerve. He immediately started me on treatment to lower my high pressure. 3 weeks ago Austin Eye had completely missed this very serious issue.

I have recently started wearing contacts. I met with Cheryl and she was amazing. She took the time to help me get the right brand and strength for each eye. She let me try different ones until we found the right fit. She even helped me with rebates that were offered. It was so nice to know there are still folks out there that provide great customer service. Eye Institute is lucky to have someone as awesome as her!!!
