Advisory DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! There is a reason this place has the only open appointments for 50 miles.

TLDR: Terrible customer service | poor people skills/unprofessional | poor time management | inconsiderate | was not provided care

My wife made this appointment for me since everything within acceptable proximity was booked for roughly 4 weeks. This location is 45-60 min drive for me, so we scheduled the earliest appointment possible, 8am. I arrived and was checked in at 7:50, and I had already completely checked in online. I was the 2nd patient in the office.

8:15 rolls around and the receptionist informs me my scheduled doctor called out sick, but they had an appointment with another  doctor for 8:30. I told them my day was time sensitive, it was a Friday I have work to attend to and they said they'd get me back as soon as possible.

I was taken back at 8:27, the NP or PA, was cold and just giving off bad vibes, like they hated their life and having to be at work (not what you expect from the medical community given the amount of money they make).

Never saw the doctor, walked out at 8:45am, told the receptionist I had been there for an hour and still had not seen the doctor so I was leaving as I told them my time was valuable. Their response, okay. No condolences, no apologies, no recognition, empathy or acknowledgment of their poor business practices.

Please read other reviews! Others have a very similar sentiment. Let's stand up to the medical community that think we need them. It's become too apparent that people enter this field for the money and don't actually care about the people they're suppose to be helping. Let's come together to get this location closed!

The lab tech is not professional, and it always takes her such a long time to submit my lab results. I am awaiting some test back that I have been very nervous about and all day nothing has been uploaded. If I go to the hospital as soon as I leave they enter in my results fast.

First of all, I would give no stars if possible! What I originally thought was a good experience, has been nothing short of a nightmare! I went here over a week ago for a LDCT Scan for lung cancer. The check-in process was great! The actual CT Scan was great!

The waiting process for scans to be read is absolutely ridiculous! I am still waiting over a week later for results of the scan. How can that be? How can I be considered a high-risk patient for lung cancer (age over 60, smoker for over 40 years of more than 2 packs per day) but yet, not have a report over a week later? By the way, my doctor doesn’t even have the report! I have called them every other day, for the last 5 days! I was told at the conclusion of the scan, I would have a report in 2 to 3 business days! My doctor’s office was nice, they said it is more like 4 days! Nobody said it would be OVER A WEEK and counting!!!

My advice to Emory is, if you want to keep your stellar rating, get rid of the Imaging Center at Buford! I am giving you advance warning; it’s going to drag you down! Seniors write reviews too!!! I for one, will NEVER go back there for any kind of diagnostic testing!

The entire staff was very professional. I would like to recognize and thank Dr. Nina Talukdar for making me feel very comfortable at a particularly bad moment.

I absolutely LOVE Emory at Buford.

As a survivor of an aggressive sarcoma who has received treatment from Emory and continues to receive regular scans, I have visited all of Emory’s various locations at some point.

For scans and other such appointments, Emory’s large campuses are always very busy and often ran a little behind schedule. My drive to Winship or to Emory Midtown is roughly an hour and a half or more (depending greatly on traffic). Emory at Buford is a wonderful service for those of us living well east and northeast of North Decatur and Atlanta.

The staff was exceptionally kind and efficient. I had the best scan experience I have ever had at Emory at Buford. For my first time ever, I did not have to tell the technician how to help me prepare for my reaction to the contrast dye! She was very supportive beforehand and caring afterward.

I learned that Emory at Buford also has a chemotherapy infusion center. I always went to Midtown or Winship for my strenuous protocol; this location would have cut my drive in half and allowed for a possible trip to the Mall of Georgia afterward! ?

I’m grateful to Emory for their exceptional care and their scholarly and supportive medical and support staff, and I’m also grateful for their continually expanding service locations to meet the needs of their patients.

I highly recommend Emory at Buford for your oncological needs!

I wish I could give this place a negative star. They are the worse. I would rather go to a free clinic and see a doctor right out of school than to deal with this office and their incompetence. Everyone in the office needs to attend a customer service course and lean how to provide good service. I have been asking for a refill on a prescription since June and every time I call in it is set as a priority but nothing ever happen and there is no follow up. I asked that all my referrals go to Northside put they will not send them and I am being force to use Emory. All I want is for someone to do their job, with minimum competence. You don't even have to care just do your dang job.

DO NOT GO HERE! If you have any type of chronic medication requiring refills and/or appointments. They cut me off cold Turkey from my medications because my physician went out of town cancelling my last appointment (which I took off work for). Now she is out of the office until August and they said they won’t refill my medications until I come in. Well I can’t get an appointment ANYWHERE except Lagrange which is 90 miles away from me for another month! This office is terrible. When you call to make an appointment someone in another state working from a switchboard is scheduling your appointments. Nobody knows how to do anything but then the patient suffers because it’s my fault that I work full time and have to rearrange my entire schedule to be adequately medicated for my condition.

I don't know what was wrong with the lady to do the blood work at Emory in Buford location today. She was so grumpy and rude to me because she couldn't locate my profile due to my name's error. And that's not even my fault since I submitted my insurance card together with my ID to the receptionist, but for some reason, they put my nickname on the profile. But she came and raised her voice on me like that's my fault in front of other people.
I understand sometimes people just have a bad day, but that does not mean you can pass it to your patients. That does not look professional at all.
I hope her manager or the upper lever can see that and correct her manner, her attitude to a better way.
