Was so grateful for the team here that helped me after I had a hiking accident and split my head wide open! While this was the only emergency room in a few hours drive. They saw me right away and took great care of me during a crazy time. The doctors and especially the staff who helped clean my wound and get me ready for all the stitches and staples were so kind and calm, great sense of humor as well! So grateful for the precision of the doctor and and answering all of my questions. They gave me great advice for after care which was so appreciated. Even the woman at the front desk helped get me in right away and was so sweet with me. Thank you for helping me during a stressful time! I really appreciate you all!

I had the opportunity to visit the ER late night early morning in October. The service received was excellent from everyone! EXCEPT the Dr.

Dr. Kimberlee Yeargin was as cold and rude as they come...

I had a mountain biking injury recently, and went to the Mercy ER and was admitted to the hospital for 3 days. I was floored by the wonderful experience I had at Mercy (despite my injuries) - every single nurse, doctor and hospital associate was so caring, helpful and attentive. While they were all very busy, everyone took the time to make sure I got the care I needed, and they were all so wonderfully cheerful along the way. Plus there were great vegetarian option for meals - the hospital food was great! And there's even a coffee shop on site (with lattes!) which was a great surprise! Thank you all SO much Mercy nurses, doctors and medical teams!! I would give you 10 stars if I could!

My husband had a heart attack while we were visiting in Pagosa Springs, and this hospital could not have been more responsive or helpful to us after being transported in ambulance from Pagosa. The care here was immediate and thorough, and the doctors, nurses, emergency ambulance drivers were so professional, caring and wonderful. He arrived and was whisked immediately into emergency stent surgery. The care we received over the 2.5 days there was top notch and heart felt. Special thanks to nurses Katie & Matthew. Katie - you are a gem & an angel who watched over us during hours I am sure no one wants to be awake. You helped us through a very scary health emergency. Thank you also to the Doctors who operated and cared for him throughout his stay. Spirit Mercy, you saved my husband’s life with your expert care. ♥️

Normally Lab Services would recieve a 5..but this time around ..I was asked for hard copy of my doctors orders WHICH I HAVE NEVER BEEN ASKED OF JUST ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY..As I understand Staff is doing their job but what happened to the previous times in two months I was there and past yrs..NEVER ASKED..
I did have as my doctor always gives me one ...but the one time I forgot it I'm asked go figure!!! In any event Again nothing towards the Staff(everyone is always cordial) but be consistent with in routine matters as a doctors orders (hard copy) Drove home ?..went back..results posted with two hrs...they are Fantastic with that ALWAYS !

I went in for outpatient labwork and ended up getting really sick afterwards and ended up in the ED. Though I was reluctant, everyone from the lab tech, nurses, and doctor were caring and compassionate. They wanted the best for me even though I really didn't want to go to the ED, I also knew I couldn't drive home until my condition was stable. Thank you for being so Compassionate. I had virtually zero wait time in the ED which is always a plus. I know that me getting sick after labwork happens to many, I'm thankful to have had a caring team that took care of me and made sure I was OK.

I was hesitant to come here due to the reviews. Our neighbor said to try it out bc she’s had good experiences. I couldn’t agree more with her. The nurses and staff were so sweet and attentive. They were super quick.

This is not about the hospital, it's about the Cafe. The lady was super mean and rude after I questioned the price of the soup. Her badge was turned around so I couldn't see her name. Pretty convenient. People are not there having lunch with friends, they are there because we are sick. To the lady with short hair that was ringing up my lunch, even if you are not medical, you attitude still effects patients. You ruined my day and I now feel worse.
