Horrible customer service!!! The website should be more specific when it comes to “lunch breaks.” I arrived at 12PM, went upstairs to find people sitting outside the clinic. A lady told me that the guy said come back at 12:30 b/c they were on lunch. So I go downstairs to to the thrift store to look around to waste time. I come back at 12:30 and the guy tells me to come back at 1:40!!! Why? I was told 30mins ago to come back at 12:30, now it’s 1:40 Y’all tripping and need to be more clear on when the clinic is actually open and accepting walk-ins. Tried to speak with a supervisor (nobody was available) b/c atp you’re wasting my time, I don’t live close by to just come back at 1:40. Inconsiderate of people’s time. I understand it’s a free service but just b/c it’s free doesn’t mean that my time isn’t valuable.

I called before I went and asked all I needed to know ,got there everything was clean everybody was very nice it was this one person not sure of his name but he was at the desk when I first got there &as he was helping it seem as he had a attitude just rude and sassy so over all great place

I had an exposure to HIV back in March and one of the nurses tried to make me feel like I was somehow responsible for the exposure. Very disrespectful staff especially when a lot of us drive so far away to come here. And to the people saying just go somewhere else and to not complain cause its free, some of us dont have those resources and most people live paycheck to paycheck. Just because your working poor doesnt mean you deserve to treated like trash. I'm now happy at a new clinic.

This place is so corrupt this is now the 3rd time I have driven 45 minutes to get here: and they said they are closed for lunch. It says they don’t close until 2pm on their website and it is 12pm. I think they are racially discriminating against who they allow to test. They let the girl in line in front of me get signed up and go in. Then told me they are closed for lunch until 3 pm. That’s in 3 hours?!!! Someone needs to intervene with the corruption at this place because they are allowing the staff to pick and choose who gets treatment at a place that is supposed to be a public service. It’s absolutely disgusting.

hello, I don't usually leave comments behind, I'm a Latino gay man who has lived in the United States for over 18 years and I lived by the city of Miami where progress is always welcome. As part of been a patient of AHF wellness Center for over 5 year and
in which offers you a free HIV/STD test for everyone, service have never been an issue with me, yes, it is Miami and parking lots is always going to be problem anywhere you go, plus in a city where the amount of people is at vast, so come in early or be lucky. Test are done quick and if you have any questions there are doctors who provide answers for you with great attitude and attention. Medication is always available for you as long as you have insurance, they offer same day hand-to-hand if medication is available for positive results. They also offer an App through healthVana in which you can see your results privately and email/calls reminders for checkup. Last but not least they also deliver PrEP medication to your door. I hear and read many negative comments about this Center. As for me it has always been a great service and place to be attended.

I don’t see how anyone can give them anything other than 5 stars. The staff was very nice and helpful and fast. The waiting area is a cool little thrift store. The service was as good as anything I’ve ever payed for before. God bless these people. Doing a great thing for the community. I can see how a service like this would attract a certain kind of clientele. Don’t mind them, they’re just a bunch of choosing beggars. Be grateful people.

La farmacia funciona muy bien, arriba en la parte de Testing no, Siempre estan “falta de personal” cierra antes se tardan muchisimo.

Por ejemplo hoy sabado 04/27/2024. Aca en google dice que cierran a las 4 pm, sin embargo llegue a las 3 y tenian ya la puerta cerrada desde hace 10 minutos antes segun otra persona que estaba alli. Y pase 20 minutos tocando la puerta y nadie salia ni siquiera para tener la decencia de decir que ya no iban a atender a mas nadie.
Fue hasta que salieron 2 case managers que pude entrar y me dijeron que no, que ya estaban cerrados y no iban a atender a mas nadie, que ellos cierran 1 hora y media antes porque tienen que procesar todo lo del dia. Esto es algo MUY REPETITIVO en este lugar.
Yo no tengo problema en si quieren trabajar inclusive solo 2h o lo que sea. Pero nos hagan perder el tiempo y no digan aqui que cierran a las 4 pm cosa que hasta la farmacia pensaba que cerraban a las 4 y me decian que subiera que ellos estaban ahi y deberian estar todavia trabajando, los 2 case managers tambien me dijeron lo mismo cuando salieron. Pero no, el doctor que estaba a cargo en ese momento dijo que el cierra antes y ya mando a todos para su casa y solo estaban terminando de procesar lo que hicieron durante el dia. Inclusive me dijo que si queria una atencion rapida fuera para la locacion de south beach.

Anyways solo sepan los que estan aca leyendo que si quieren algun tipo de atencion esten ql tanto que van a pasar mas de 3h alli para ser atendidos y que si dicen que cierran a una hora sepan que tienen que llegar 2-3h antes porque sino les dieran que ya cerraron para poder “procesar lo que hicieron en el dia”
