I have nothing against the doctor, but the customer service is horrible. On the day of my appointment, I waited for two hours to see the doctor for just five minutes. He ordered an MRI and instructed me to follow up with Yanet in 48 hours. I contacted her several times, but she informed me that the insurance was not approving the MRI. When I called the insurance company, they told me they were waiting for a response from the doctor. I reached out to Monica and Yanet, but nobody was able to help. Eventually, Yanet told me that the insurance had denied the MRI.

After 14 days of no progress, I decided to see another orthopedist at Baptist. He ordered an MRI, and it was approved the following day. I understand that employees are facing challenges these days, but there seems to be a lack of training among the staff in this office.

I traveled to Miami to see Dr. Herrera for a hip labrum tear as not many doctors perform this more specialized surgery in the state of Florida. It hasn't even been a week post op and I already have less pain than before. I am looking forward to complete success and heading back onto the tennis court in a few months for competitive play again. 🙏

Haven’t had surgery done by him, but I had both shoulders done with Baptist and neither of them turned out well. He gave me a different perspective from my first post surgery visit, saw things in my MRI the radiologists didn’t.. I am going with Dr. Herrara to get me right again.

Extremely disappointed, my Mother which is 75 years old called for an appointment and the front desk advised her that this Doctor does see patients above 70 years old. I find that to be very prejudice and it saddened me. Someone very dear to me highly referred this to us. Te Doctor operated him a couple of years ago. He sells insurance plans to the eldery both Medicaid and Medicare and was sure to advise him about this immediately when my Mom told me.
