This hospital is the best in all of Sacramento. I've been to 4 hospitals in a month, ALL Emergency Room visits, 7 years ago. I was having "shortness of breath" episodes and they found a solution for me through medicine that was SUSTAINABLE. But over time, medical situations come back. I am here again, tonight, trouble breathing again and they are admitting me for my own good. I don't mind. Anyway, I CHOSE to come here when the ambulance picked me up from my Primary Cares Dr's office and asked where I wanted to go. UC Davis of course. They are your best choice if you want top notch health care by Drs, Staff and Students In Training to be Drs.

When we got there, building was presentable, everything looked up to standard. We checked in staff was friendly. Once in the doctors were helpful with giving us our options and what direction we could go in. The only part I didn't like was there was a parking fee..

This is about my experience at the Tschanen Eye Institute and I was fortunate to have Dr. Lauren Guajardo (no relation) as my Opthalmologist, she is as professional as they get , she was very thorough in her examination and explanation, as she left no stone unturned, as she worked in sync and harmoniously with her assistant Ruth, a team that's not a Dream, after my thorough and comprehensive examination, I walked over about 15 ft. To the next station and ordered a new pair of reading glasses. And Cody Fisher was my Technician that helped me in ordering and choosing a new pair of glasses. You can't go wrong at this Eye institute because it's a one stop shop. With that being said I give them 5 stars ? hands down.

My friend has to go monthly for an optical procedure and even though we drive 4 hours each direction; it's worth it.

The staff and doctor's are exceptional in their profession, friendly and genuinely seem to care. They come in with a sense of humor which is very much appreciated this day and age because so many "professionals" are rude, unwilling to help, and rush you out like their driving home cattle ‍♀️

The facility is clean, orderly, and has several TVs to pass the time and keep those with kiddos occupied.

Everyone was polite, understanding, and answered all of my questions. I had an appointment and was seen with little wait time. I was seen and evaluated by one doctor and one technician who both were polite and answered all my questions. They explained my situation in a way that I understood what the issue was and what to expect in the near future. I felt they really had my care was top priority and did not feel like cattle being run thru.

Everyone in the doctors office was amazing. Efficient and friendly. The man who helped me with ordering glasses was not friendly or helpful. I was not able to order them. He didn't seem very interested in helping me. First ever bad experience I've had with UCD.
